Chris Cameron, Director of Account Services

With 20 years in the industry, Chris has worked his way up from paper prep for document scanning and deposition video syncing to eDiscovery processing where he processed the data for the Enron project in real time. Chris continued working within the industry as a project manager for 8 years, managing some of the largest litigations in the country. Chris then went on to create a top-tiered client services team which became of one of the best client services teams in the industry. This development pushed Chris to reanalyze the way eDiscovery companies partner with their clients and worked to fill the gaps within the industry. This attentiveness to clients’ needs and his well roundedness within the industry is what made Chris the perfect match for PLUSnxt, as we focus on partnership and personalizing our clients’ eDiscovery experience.

What led you to PLUSnxt?

Tony and I spoke back in 2018 casually discussing business structure and client support. We were very aligned in our mentality, and both agreed that something needed to evolve in the relationship between clients and eDiscovery service providers. However, it wasn’t until 2021 that the timing worked out and I made the jump to PLUSnxt.

What is your role within PLUSnxt?

My role here at PLUS is very fluid. Essentially my role is to provide support to both our internal team and to our clients to ensure our continued path to success. I work to provide our sales team with the tools they need to be successful, and I work with our clients to ensure they have the right solutions. Regarding onboarding clients, my job is to work with them to build programs around their specific needs. We want our clients to feel that we are giving them that next level of service that is missing within the industry.

Where do you see PLUSnxt going?

This was huge draw for me to PLUS, the opportunity to work for a company that is flexible. We aren’t forcing clients to fit within our box, but rather building new boxes around them. This is the reason why we continue to grow. I truly believe that we are going to be recognized as the company within the industry that works as a true partner with our clients.

What is your ideal relationship with clients?

My ideal relationship with anyone is that of a true partnership, both internally and externally. I want who I am working with to know that I am looking out for, not just my best interest, but their best interest as well. My philosophy is that if we treat our clients as true partners and push for their success, then they will reciprocate and want us to succeed as well. A symbiotic relationship where we speak the same language and celebrate the same wins is ideal for me.

What do you do for fun? What is something people couldn’t learn about you from your LinkedIn profile?

I love spending time with my family, anything we do we like to do together. But I also love to be outside and exploring. My favorite times are when I am mountain biking, skiing, hiking and I’m accompanied by my family in those adventures. My wife and I are also avid road trippers. From 2-hour drives to cross country trips, we do it all. Being on the go truly does bring us joy.
